openSUSE Tumbleweed

My distro of choice is openSUSE Tumbleweed.

While I enjoy using openSUSE, it's far from perfect!
But with a few minor tweaks, I think it's a solid choice and perfect base for whatever you want.

Desktop

My desktop of choice is currently XFCE.
XFCE can look and feel pretty modern with the right settings!
And it runs great on just about any computer.
